The long time spoken about Ferry service between Hua Hin - Pattaya / Pattaya - HuaHin finally made its inaugural run yesterday!
Thailiving Ferry announce the launching of its new high speed Catamaran that will provide water transportation between two of Thailand’s most popular tourist cities, Pattaya and Hua-Hin.
Many tourists visiting Thailand first tour Bangkok and then go south to visit other great areas of amazing Thailand. Today their only option is to travel the western region of Thailand without a good option to travel to the Eastern Seaboard. With the new catamaran service it will be easy to travel to visit the popular city of Pattaya and then direct proceed to Hua-Hin, Ko Samoui and Puket.
The trip takes 3 hours and 15 minutes and will be made by a high speed catamaran, 18m long, 2x360hp engines, cruising at 20knots. The Catamaran is built to international rules and regulations and makes use of the latest in navigation and safety equipment. Personal safety equipment as life vests and life rafts are available to all passengers (SOLAS standard). The catamaran is equipped with Digital Radar, GPS, UHF/VHF Radios, EPIRB and Autopilot.
The catamaran will be running between Pattaya (Ocean Marina) and Hua Hin(Pak Nam Pran) initially 3 times every week. Customers will get transportation to and from the piers with minibuses collecting and dropping of at central points in the cities.
The one way trip fare will be 1600baht and for return 3000baht. In November and December there will be promotions from 1200baht.
